OnlyLore keeps a fictional world consistent as it grows: its characters and their families, its history on one timeline, and everything linked to everything else. Start with Getting started, or go straight to what you are working on.

Start here

Getting startedSign in, make a universe, write your first characters and events, and invite somebody to write with you.

UniversesWhat a universe is, the org that owns it, making one, switching between them, and its settings.

Writing lore

Entries and linksThe kinds of entry a universe holds, their keys, why a blank field means undecided, and linking one entry to another.

CharactersLifespans and life status, parents, relationships, allegiances to factions, traits and a canon voice.

Events, eras and factionsDated moments, named spans of history and who controlled them, and the orders and nations characters serve.

Locations, objects and articlesPlaces of interest, artifacts and relics, and long-form articles written in Markdown.
