Privacy Policy

Effective 3 September 2026

This policy explains what GreenMind Media Inc. collects when you use OnlyLore, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what is needed to run the service, and we do not sell or share it.

1. What we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google we receive your email address, your display name, and an identifier from the authentication provider. We do not receive or store your password.

What you write. The worldbuilding content you create — characters, events, eras, factions, places, articles and the relationships between them — along with which universe each belongs to.

Collaboration data. Which universes you own or belong to, your role in each, and the email addresses you send invitations to.

Access tokens. Where you create a token for an AI assistant, we store a one-way hash of it, a short non-secret prefix, and when it was last used. We cannot recover the token itself.

Operational logs. Ordinary server logs, which may include IP addresses, request times and error details, kept for security and debugging.

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles.

2. Why we hold it

To operate the service: to authenticate you, to store and show your content, to enforce who may see which universe, to keep the service secure, and to diagnose faults. We have no other purpose for it.

3. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information or your content. We do not share or rent it to third parties for their own purposes. We do not use your worldbuilding content to train machine-learning models, our own or anyone else's.

4. Who can see your content

A universe is visible to its owner and to the people that owner has invited to it, and to nobody else using the service.

GreenMind staff can technically access stored data, because it is our infrastructure. We access it only where necessary to operate the service — investigating a fault, responding to a support request, or acting on a report under our Terms & Conditions.

5. Service providers

We use third parties to run the service, and they process data on our behalf and under our instructions only. Today that means Google Firebase for authentication, and our own hosting and database infrastructure. If we add others we will update this policy.

We may disclose information where required by law, or where necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of GreenMind, our users, or the public.

6. Where data is held

Data is stored on servers operated for GreenMind Media Inc., and may be processed in Canada, the United States, or wherever our infrastructure providers operate. By using the service you consent to that processing.

7. Retention and deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account exists. Delete a universe and its content is removed from the service; delete your account and we remove your account record and the universes you own.

Backups and logs may retain copies for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten in the ordinary course.

8. Your rights

You may access, correct, export or delete your content through the service, and you may ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights over your personal information — to access it, to correct it, to have it deleted, or to object to its processing. Write to us and we will do what the law requires.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect stored data, including hashing every access token so it cannot be recovered from our database. No service can promise perfect security, and we cannot guarantee it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

10. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above changes when we do. Where a change materially reduces your privacy protections we will make reasonable efforts to tell you. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised policy.
