Editing together

Several people can work on the same universe, and on the same entry, at once.

Live editing

An entry's changes are saved as they are made: there is no save button, and the drawer says when everything is saved. Anybody else with the entry open sees each change at once, and nobody's change is lost to anybody else's, whether it was made by a person or by an assistant writing through OnlyLore's MCP server (see Assistants).

The top of the drawer shows who else has the entry open, and which field each of them is in. If a change cannot be kept, for instance because the entry was deleted meanwhile, the drawer says so and why.

Comments

Below an entry, Comments holds threads about the entry as a whole or about one of its fields. Anybody who can comment (a commenter, an editor or an owner) can start a thread, reply, and resolve or reopen it. A comment can be edited or deleted afterwards.

A commenter cannot change an entry, but can suggest new text for one of its fields. The suggestion shows what would be taken out and what added, and an editor accepts it, which makes it an ordinary live edit, or turns it down.

History

History, beside Comments, lists an entry's editing sessions, newest first. Anybody who can read the universe can open one and see what changed in it. An editor can also give a version a name, to find it again, and restore an earlier version, which is itself recorded as a change.
