Search

Search, first in a universe's sidebar, looks across every character, event, era, faction, location and article in the universe: their names, their descriptions and the other prose they hold, and the full body of every article.

Type at least two letters and the results follow as you type. Each result says what kind of entry it is and which of its fields matched, so a name and a passing mention in an article are easy to tell apart. When there are many matches, the page shows the first of them and says how many there are in all; type more to narrow them.

Choosing a result opens the entry.

Search reaches only the universe that is open. To search another, switch to it first (see Universes).
